2nd Annual Thomasville Clay Road Classic and Due South Concert. Come enjoy a clay road ride, a downtown festival, and a Saturday night concert-All In One Place! The weekend of April 12th-13th 2019 includes the Thomasville Clay Road Classic and Due South Festival and Concert in downtown Thomasville, Georgia. Thomasville is home to over 300 miles of the most beautiful clay roads in the country - maybe the world. The interconnecting Red Hills Plantation Region covers over 300,000 acres. On April 13th, Hubs and Hops Bike Shop and Tap Room will host the 2nd annual Thomasville Clay Road Classic with routes to include a 10-mile, 20-mile, 50-mile, and a 100-mile route starting from the Bike Shop and the Ritz Amphitheater. Ride start times will be staggered with the first ride leaving at 7:30am. Registration will include: Friday; an event T-Shirt, as well as a pre-ride dinner, drinks, live music, and cycling presentation at the Biscuit Company. Saturday; breakfast, ride, post meal, and Due South concert tickets! The Biscuit company, a downtown event center, will host the meals, presentations, and 100 camping slots (limited pop-up and RV spots available). Showers will be available at the downtown YMCA. Registration proceeds will support the Thomasville University Athletics program and a potential future cycling program. Event Details:Registration caps at 300 riders, so sign up early! $35 registration includes a Friday night pre-ride dinner, drinks, live music, and a cycling presentation by Former Pro Cyclist Tom Danielson at the Biscuit Company. Saturday breakfast, ride, post ride meal, and an event T-Shirt. $50 registration includes the same as the $35 registration plus a Hubs and Hops coupon and a ticket to the Due South Festival and Concert (regularly $25). The $50 registration is capped at 150 entries.
