On the 2nd Saturday of each month, the Center invites community members to enjoy a free, family-centered day of art.  We are celebrating Back to School! Bring your family and friends to enjoy artmaking and community while celebrating the start of a new school year. Drop-in activities for all ages will include: Beaded jewelry design workshop | All supplies are provided to make your own wearable work of art! Mindful movement | Move your body creatively with yoga and dance movement led by dance instructor Ella McKinney. Mats provided.  Vision board + journal making | Create a mixed-media collage that can serve as an eye-catching vision board or a journal for your creative endeavors. Watch a short film | Enjoy Abstract: the Art of Design featuring toy company tools and objects designed to inspire kids (and adults) to play creatively. Guided Gallery tour | Explore the Center's current exhibition, The Many Lives of Andrew Young, with a short, guided tour.
