Thomasville Center for the Arts in partnership with ASHLEY + 1915 South invites you to celebrate the sights and sounds of the South at the 14th annual Due South Event in Thomasville, GA. This year, the public art installation, "Strings Attached" focuses on string guitars and guitarists influenced by the South and Southern communities. The region's working people drew deeply from their marvelous music to preserve their identity, build community ties, worship, and win emotional release and liberation in a society that seemed too often to value only their labor. Strings ATTACHED reflects Thomasville's community ties and how connected we are.
