Grab a beer or wine from your favorite Downtown restaurant or venue and stroll the historic streets in style! From 6:00-8:00 PM, musical acts and fun entertainment will be tucked throughout the Downtown for you to discover while you’re shopping and dining. Then, beginning at 8:00 PM, grab your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free outdoor concert in the Park and Amphitheater in Downtown Thomasville featuring Flint River Band!
Formed in March of 2013 by original members Allen Hayes, Fern Roman and Wren Chandlee, they were joined the following year by Tim Pearl. In 2016, Wren had to leave the band for personal reasons. Thanks to Wren for all of his hard work and dedication to the band. We added Robyn Johnson, an outstanding vocalist. All of the guys have been playing for years and have been in many other bands. Having three lead singers allows Flint River to play a great mix of Country hits and Classic Rock songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and more. Music from artists like Bob Seger, The Eagles, Van Morrison and many more. Country music from the 60's to today. From artists like George Strait, Hank Williams Jr., Jennifer Nettles, Shania, Melissa Etheridge, Martina McBride and Billy Currington.
First Friday Sip and Strolls are fun for the whole family! Participating shops and restaurants will be open late!
