The 11 Annual Thomasville MLK Walk and Festival mission is to promote unity, healthy lifestyles, healthcare ministries/departments in churches, organizations, and businesses, enlighten the community of historic landmarks in the community, activate a desire in youth to exercise more, and combat childhood obesity, and to promote humanitarian ideals in giving back to the community. The 11th Annual Thomasville MLK Walk and Festival (Virtual) begins Sunday, December 13, 2020 - January 10, 2021. Register yourself (free) to qualify for raffles and walk at mlkhumanitarianwalk.org under Registration. Log TOTAL STEPS WEEKLY for awards. Each person registered receives a free Chick fil A sandwich coupon. This year steps are being tracked with a tool called a pedometer donated by Sponsor Archbold/Archbold Live Better. Pick yours up at Thomasville YMCA, Factor X Fitness, Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness, COGI Athletics or use your smartphone. Weekly prizes and raffles for local youth and adults, nationwide/international. Festival January 16, 12 noon. Townhall 1:30 pm on Thomasville CNS Cable, YouTube, and Facebook Live! See you there.
