Join Pebble Hill Plantation’s horticulturalist and floral designer, Laura Strickland, for a festive evening of floral design and fun! Laura has more than 30 years of experience working at Pebble Hill and The Sea Island Company, and her designs have graced many beautiful historic homes, buildings, and estates.
Following CDC guidelines, the evening will begin with a light hors d'oeuvres and beverage social featuring select wines, cheeses, and desserts from local businesses. Laura will then share some of the history of the beautiful floral arrangements used at Pebble Hill.
Participants need to bring hand pruning shears and gloves. Laura will provide the festive greenery from the Pebble Hill grounds and a clear plastic container with oasis to keep the arrangement fresh. This container can then be placed in the participant’s favorite container at home.
