To celebrate the newly renovated facility, Thomasville Fire Rescue will host an Open House for the community on October 17th from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at Fire Station 2. Activities planned for the evening include:

• Tours of the station
• Tours of the training facilities that will include a burn building, maze and fire tower
• Citizens can sign up for free smoke alarm installations
• Participate in fire prevention demonstration
• Tours of fire vehicles
• Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs
• Bouncy house for the kids
