Come out for this fun filled community event! Set among the live oaks, tall pines, and clay roads of Thomasville, Georgia, this course includes city multi use trails and beautiful clay roads. Race options include a full duathlon (1.5k run, 20 mile bike, 5k run) and a sprint duathlon (1.5k run, 15 mile bike, 5k run). Be the first to run Thomasville's newest multi use Victoria Place trail, then ride the canopy clay roads of Millpond, Hicks, and New Hope, and finish with a run across the historic bricks of newly renovated West Jackson Street. Complete your adventure with a beer at Hubs and Hops and stay for the Oktoberfest festivities. The duathlon starts at 10am at The Ritz Amphitheater behind Hubs and Hops. Same day registration starts at 9am at Hubs and Hops. Registration fee is $20-Individual and $35-team with half of the proceeds going to the Green Turtle Cay Bahamas relief fund. Special duathlon pricing for the Oktoberfest at $25 ($10 saving). Oktoberfest starts at 3pm with food, beer, live music, and TVs to watch your favorite teams. Though not an officially sanctioned race, we recognize the first male and female participants as well as the first team to cross the finish line. Water stops: mile 10 on the bike and mile 1.5 on the 5K run. No water stop on the 1.5K portion. Run surfaces are paved multi-use sidewalk and roadways. The bike portion is 90% clay roads with rolling hills .Transition area is located in the amphitheater grass behind Hubs and Hops. Participants will receive a free drink of choice at Hubs and Hops after the event (soda, beer, or wine). Food available at Empire Bagel and Deli located next to Hubs and Hops.
