Tiptoe Through the Tombstones

Meet the residents of Thomasville's oldest public burial grounds and hear stories of their triumphs and tragedies as you tiptoe through the tombstones.

Tours are conducted by the Thomasville History Center and available on the first Saturday of the month from March through June and September through December.

Tours will occur at 10 am at the Old City Cemetery/Flipper Cemetery and at 2 pm at Laurel Hill Cemtery. Tours last one hour each and attendees will “meet” 6-8 residents along the way.

Children under the age of 6 are free. Themes and biographical information discussed on the tour may not be appropriate for young adventurers so registration for children under 12 is at the discretion of their adult(s).
