APRIL 26-28, 2018

Celebrated annually the weekend of the fourth Friday in April

Held in historic Downtown Thomasville, the Rose Show and Festival has been a southwest Georgia tradition since the 1920s. Featuring several flower shows, parades, community events, concerts, and more, the Rose Show and Festival is fun for the whole family. Most events are free!

Everyone is welcome to participate in our Rose Bud Parade! We are assigning lineup numbers this year to make it easier for parents to know where to drop off their children and to keep everyone safe. You will be mailed your lineup number and lineup information after the deadline. The sign-up deadline is April 16, 2018.

This year’s Rose Parade theme is Helping Hands: A Celebration of Community Volunteers. The application deadline is April 16, 2018.

The 97th Annual Rose Show will be hosted by the Thomasville Rose Society. There are 3 divisions for entries: Division I - Horticulture, Division II - Arrangements and Division III - Photography. Bring your beauty or beauties to the back of the tent Friday, April 27 between 7:00am - 10:00am. Show display items provided include: vases, tags, mats for photo entries, table easels and water. Arranging is easy; cut your stems as long as possible, use foliage for simple accents and a pencil when filling out your tag. Know your rose by name or you can ask one of our rose specialsts for advice. Click on the various Divisions for entry information.
