Celebrated annually the weekend of the fourth Friday in April

Held in historic Downtown Thomasville, the Rose Show and Festival has been a southwest Georgia tradition since the 1920s. Featuring several flower shows, parades, community events, concerts, and more, the Rose Show and Festival is fun for the whole family. Most events are free!

We invite you to be a part of our Rose Bud Parade (possibly the cutest children’s parade around) or Rose Parade. Applications can be downloaded below.

98TH ANNUAL ROSE SHOW ENTRY INFORMATION

The 98th Annual Rose Show will be hosted by the Thomasville Rose Society. There are 3 divisions for entries: Division I - Horticulture; Division II - Arrangements; and Division III - Photography. Bring your beauty or beauties to the back of the tent Friday, April 26 between 7:00am - 10:00am. Display items that are provided include: vases, tags, mats for photo entries, table easels and water. Arranging is easy; cut your stems as long as possible and use foliage for simple accents. Use a pencil when filling out your tag, and list your rose by name or ask one of our rose specialsts for advice.

41st Annual Children’s Rose Bud Parade
7 pm, Broad Street

Possibly the cutest parade in the area featuring hundreds of area children! Parade Marshals are beloved cartoon characters! Free Admission. Click here to view the parade route.
